About the role: Academics are looking for a dedicated SEN Teacher to work in a SEN school in Newport. As an SEN teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with complex learning needs and making sure they receive a quality education with tailored supported programs allowing them to reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities as a SEN Supply Teacher. Deliver engaging lessons to meet the unique needs of SEN students. Work with school staff and SEN coordinators to implement learning plans tailored to students. Develop and maintain a safe, inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere. Work closely with staff and pupils families providing feedback on the students’ progress. Requirements of a SEN Teacher Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in SEN teaching. A strong understanding of SEN practices including behaviour management strategies. Strong communication skills, being able to communicate with SLT, staff and students families.
