Schools across Worksop, Nottinghamshire, and surrounding areas are on the lookout for enthusiastic and dedicated Qualified Teaching Assistants to help children excel in their learning while creating a positive and supportive atmosphere where they can flourish. Our partner schools, working closely with Academics, are set in picturesque rural locations with outstanding outdoor spaces designed for education and development. The teams within these schools emphasise collaboration, fostering a community that supports both staff and students alike. What does the role of a Qualified Teaching Assistant in Worksop involve? Working hours : 8:15 am to 3:45 pm. Providing tailored support to children on a 1:1 and group basis. Incorporating creative and engaging ideas to enhance learning outcomes. Demonstrating knowledge of the EYFS, KS1, or KS2 curriculum. Upholding the school’s safeguarding policies to ensure student safety. Supporting the behavior policies to maintain a positive learning environment. Actively engaging in training and development opportunities. Gaining experience across a range of schools in the Worksop area. A dedication to education and training. Pay rate : £83.33 to £90.00 per day (inclusive of holiday pay, dependent on experience and qualifications). What do you need to become a Qualified Teaching Assistant with Academics? Prior experience supporting children in a primary school setting (ideally 6 months or more). A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (preferred). A valid enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one. A proactive and positive attitude. A nurturing and approachable personality. Commitment to participating in ongoing training and development. The ability to travel to schools across Worksop. Willingness to undertake relevant education and training courses.
