The Mental Health Youth Worker role will consist of providing consistent support and encouragement to children on a 1-1 basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in helping these children achieve their potential, coaching them through self-regulation techniques, healthy coping mechanisms and identifying triggers in advance. The Mental Health Youth Worker position would be highly beneficial to a graduate wanting to follow a career in psychology or criminology due to the frontline experience supporting young people from diverse backgrounds, many suffering developmental trauma relating to neglect or mistreatment.
