Long Term Role Academics are currently recruiting for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work three days a week, at a lovely, Welsh medium primary school, in Caerphilly. The ideal candidate will be someone who has experience working in education, happy to prepare lessons when required to do so and is flexible. You must be a fluent Welsh speaker to apply for this role. The role is from November and for the duration of the academic year The role of a HLTA Assist the teacher in delivering successful lessons Work with pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis Build and maintain professional relationships with other staff members Be a role model to all pupils Plan occasional lessons Be responsible for class on occasions What’s in it for you?
