Oxted- Primary Education – Learning Difficulties – Special Needs Teaching Assistant – SEN – From £85 per day This Primary school located in Oxted are looking for a Teaching Assistant to start working with them supporting SEN children with mild to severe need, aged 4-11 on a 121 basis. The Special Needs Teaching Assistant role is an excellent way to get your ‘foot in the door’, providing the opportunity to work closely and network with other teams of professionals, gaining relevant experience, and expanding your knowledge and skillset. The Special Needs Teaching Assistant role will give you essential experience within a challenging yet rewarding setting. Career progression routes include Primary Teacher, Speech and Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist and various Child Psychology and Educational Psychology routes. A common feature for many children and young people with special educational needs is that they face many barriers in life and need the additional support to make sure they are getting the most out of their education. As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will be instrumental in providing consistency, and equipping children and young people with tools to ensure they feel safe, secure, empowered, and believe that they can succeed in life.
