1:1 Teaching Assistant needed in Worksop (Temporary / Ongoing). Do you have a natural flair for supporting children within primary education? We are looking for staff members who are ambitious and dedicated to supporting children within primary education in a 1:1 teaching assistant capacity, ensuring a positive and happy environment for them to thrive in. This role involves working closely with children who may have SEN and require 1:1 support to be able to thrive.

What would working as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant with Academics entail?

  • Working hours of 8:30am to 3:30pm
  • Supporting children on both a 1:1 and group basis within primary education
  • Implementing creative ideas to bring children on course
  • Having knowledge of the EYFS, KS1 or KS2 curriculum
  • Adhering to schools safeguarding policies to ensure the safety of all pupils in your care
  • Adhering to the school behaviour policy and working closely with teaching staff to develop behaviour management strategies
  • Assisting children with a range of SEN such as autism, ADHD, dyspraxia etc.
  • Local work opportunities within Worksop
  • Excellent rates of pay - dependent on experience and inclusive of holiday pay
