Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? Are you looking for a new classroom to share their love for learning? An ‘Outstanding’ mainstream primary school in Wantage is seeking a new 1:1 SEN teaching assistant to join their team of support staff. This role will involve supporting pupils with SEN in both a small group and 1:1 basis throughout the school day. This role is ideal for candidates who are experienced with supporting pupils with SEN, but also those who are looking to pursue a career within mental health and are looking for more valuable experience.
Responsibilities- Provide excellent tailored support to primary aged students who need additional support in the classroom
- Assist both inside and outside the classroom with learning activities
- Collaborate with the SENCO and class teacher to ensure that the support you are providing is of the best quality
- Have access to training in relation to the role
