An excellent Primary school in Wantage is searching for a teaching assistant to join them this term. This is a small one-form entry primary school in Wantage graded ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted. The Head Teacher is searching for a teaching assistant to work 1:1 with an SEN child in Year 1 on a long-term basis. The start date will be ASAP.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with Autism and ABA. The child is in Year 1 and the teaching assistant will be required to work with them during all lessons and to ensure they are involved in wider school life. Previous experience in a similar role is ideal for this position.

This role requires someone who will be reliable and committed – the child needs a consistent support system and this will be a vital part of this role.
