SEND 1:1 Support – Selby

Academics is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to provide 1:1 SEND support for a child based in Selby. We’re looking for someone who is empathetic, adaptable, patient, and enthusiastic — with a genuine passion for helping young learners thrive through personalised education.

We work closely with local authorities and schools to ensure children across Selby receive the tailored 1:1 support they deserve. There are plenty of opportunities available, from short-term placements to long-term roles supporting children with a range of special educational needs.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience supporting children with varied SEND needs
• A good understanding of core subjects such as English, Maths, and/or Science
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training
• The ability to deliver creative and flexible learning approaches tailored to each individual child
