Join Our Team as a Year 2 Primary Teaching Assistant in Sandbach!
We\’re looking for a dedicated Year 2 Primary Teaching Assistant to support a child with an EHCP who has social and emotional needs. If you\’re patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic about creating a Positive learning environment, we\’d love to hear from you! This role is 5 days a week with full Primary school hours (8:30 -3:30)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support to a Primary Year 2 student with an EHCP.
- Assist in setting strategies to support the child\’s social and emotional development.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt lessons and activities.
- Create a positive, inclusive atmosphere where the child feels safe and encouraged to learn.
- Monitor and report on the child\’s progress, working collaboratively with parents and professionals.
What We\’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children with social and emotional needs.
- A patient, understanding approach with a strong ability to build rapport.
- A positive attitude and a genuine passion for supporting children\’s learning and development.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications or experience in special educational needs (SEN) is desirable but not essential.
