Are you a passionate Welsh-speaking teacher with experience in Key Stage 1? Academics, a leading education recruitment agency, is currently recruiting for a KS1 Welsh Teacher to work on a temporary basis across a variety of primary schools in Barry and the surrounding Vale of Glamorgan area.

About the Role:

  • Position: KS1 Welsh Teacher

What You\’ll Be Doing:
As a KS1 Welsh Teacher, you\’ll deliver high-quality lessons through the medium of Welsh, support pupils\’ development and work collaboratively with teaching staff and school leadership to create an engaging and supportive learning environment.

To be considered, you will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Fluent Welsh speaker

  • Experience teaching KS1 pupils

  • An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

  • EWC registration (Education Workforce Council – Wales)

  • Up-to-date safeguarding training (we can assist with this if needed)
