Academics is currently looking to recruit a Cover Supervisor/Unqualified Teacher to work within our client secondary schools in Wirral and the surrounding areas on a supply basis. This can be as flexible as you need or want it to be!
As a Cover Supervisor/Unqualified Teacher you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity in the classroom, ensuring that students receive the best possible learning experience during their teachers' absences.
Main Classroom Supervisor/Unqualified Teacher responsibilities:- Supervising secondary school students in the absence of the regular class teacher
- Delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring a productive learning environment
- Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive and respectful atmosphere
- Adhering to school policies and procedures
- Making sure the students stay on task
- Previous experience supporting children and/or young adults is desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible and adaptable to different school environments
- Enhanced DBS certificate registered to the update service, or be willing to get one
- To be based in Wirral or surrounding areas
