Are you passionate about supporting students on their educational journey? Academics are working with a popular secondary school in Chester who are currently looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to support students across KS3 and KS4 on a full-time basis. You will be responsible for assisting the teachers in delivering engaging lessons and also providing support to students that require additional help in either a one to one or small group setting. You will need to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment and support the classroom management whilst collaborating with other members of staff and parents to ensure student progress.

What you will need to work as a Teaching Assistant with Academics:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a secondary school setting is desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to different classroom environments
