Supporting pupils with ASD & ADHD Immediate/ASAP Start Long-term placement

Academics Ltd is searching for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Dover, supporting children with Autism (ASD) and ADHD. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant who is passionate about helping young people thrive in a nurturing and structured environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students on a 1:1 and small group basis
• Assisting with learning activities and fostering a positive learning environment
• Work closely with teaching staff to create specific learning plans catered to individual pupils
• Maintain a positive attitude that will motivate the children you work with
• Providing tailored support to pupils with a variety of SEN needs

What we\’re looking for:

• Experience working with children, ideally within a SEN setting/SEMH background
• Passion, empathy and desire for working with children with Special Educational Needs
• A strong communicator who is able to work collaboratively with staff and pupils
• A willingness to learn and grow

Excellent on-site training, support and CPD is provided to ensure safeguarding of all students

90 – 100 per day, Mon-Fri, 08:30 to 15:30, PAYE, Term time only
