Location: Goole and Surrounding Areas
Salary: £90 - £110 per day (depending on experience and responsibilities)
Are you passionate about supporting children with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs and Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Do you enjoy working flexibly while making a real impact in the classroom?
We are looking for caring, committed and adaptable SEMH/SEN Support Staff to work across a range of welcoming primary schools in Goole. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a supply basis, with a mix of day-to-day, short-term and longer-term placements available - tailored to your availability and preferences.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEMH and/or broader SEN needs
- Supporting behaviour, emotional regulation, communication and access to learning
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and other professionals to deliver tailored support
- Encouraging positive relationships, confidence and independence in pupils
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience supporting children with SEMH and/or SEN, ideally within a school or care setting
- A patient, empathetic and proactive approach to behaviour and emotional support
- Ability to adapt and respond to the needs of different pupils and settings
- A relevant qualification (e.g. Teaching Assistant Level 2/3, Team Teach, or equivalent) is desirable but not essential
