They are looking for someone with a degree ideally in any subject along with a strong academic background. The successful teaching assistant will ideally have previous experience working with children - this can be tutoring, previous school experience, coaching, youth work etc.
This is a lovely primary school. They are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, someone who can build a good rapport with the children and be professional with the parents. A basic understanding of Maths and English is very important, as the teaching assistant will be supporting numeracy and literacy lessons for KS1 and KS2 classes.
