Academics are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive mainstream Primary School in the Llanrumney area of Cardiff.
Role Responsibilities:
- Support the KS1 class teacher with classroom activities and learning
- Assist in the preparation of materials and classroom displays
- Work with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning
- Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
- Provide emotional and educational support as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
- A relevant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, TA qualification) is desirable but not essential
