About the Role

Academics is seeking a compassionate Teaching Assistant to support primary school teachers in creating a nurturing and effective learning environment. The ideal candidate will work closely with teachers to enhance the educational experience, especially for children with special educational needs. This role is essential in fostering an inclusive atmosphere where all students can thrive academically and socially.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide 1:1 support to pupils requiring additional help in the classroom.
2. Develop and maintain positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.
3. Implement and contribute to the review of individual education plans.
4. Assist in preparing lesson materials and resources.
5. Keep accurate records of students\’ progress and achievements.
