Job Title: Drama Teacher Location: Aylesbury Buckinghamshire Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Pay: M1-UPS3 (£36,413 – £53,994 Start Date: January 2026 Job Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic, passionate, and committed Drama Teacher to join the vibrant Performing Arts Department. The successful candidate will inspire and motivate students to explore and develop their performance skills, creativity, and self-expression. As a Drama teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the possibility of teaching Key Stage 5 (A-level Drama) depending on experience. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality drama lessons in line with the national curriculum. Foster a creative and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to express themselves. Prepare students for performances, exams, and assessments. Work collaboratively with the department and wider school community to enhance the performing arts provision. Contribute to extracurricular drama activities, including school productions, drama clubs, and workshops. Track and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help students achieve their full potential. The Ideal Candidate: Qualified teacher status (QTS) with a degree in Drama, Performing Arts, or a related subject. Experience teaching Drama at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. A passion for the performing arts and inspiring students to explore their creative potential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
