Teaching Assistant – Cardiff

Position: Teaching Assistant – Cardiff (Agency Role)
Start Date: 05/01/26
Pay: 88.94 per day (with potential increases depending on client rate and candidate experience/qualifications)
Requirements: Enhanced DBS required

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant – Cardiff to work in a welcoming primary school in Cardiff. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children\’s learning and development in a vibrant school environment.

About the Role

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Work 1:1 with pupils or with small groups to reinforce learning.
• Assist with classroom organisation, preparation of resources, and general support.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and positive learning atmosphere.
• Provide additional support to pupils with varied learning needs where required.

About You

• Is caring, patient, and committed to helping children succeed.
• Has strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Can use their initiative and adapt to the needs of the class.
• Has experience working with children (school experience desirable).
• Holds relevant qualifications such as an NVQ Level 2/3 in Teaching & Learning (desirable).
• Holds a valid Enhanced DBS or is willing to obtain one.
