Academics is recruiting Supply Teachers to support a network of secondary schools across Cheshire West & East, including Northwich, Sandbach and Crewe.
We are looking for teachers who want flexible work that fits around their lifestyle — whether that’s day-to-day supply or longer-term placements.
This role is ideal for teachers who want the freedom of teaching without the added pressure of planning and marking.
The Role
- Deliver pre-planned lessons (general cover or subject-specific)
- Provide general classroom cover across different subjects when required
- Maintain positive behaviour and a focused learning environment
- Adapt confidently to different schools and classroom settings
- No planning or marking required for day-to-day supply
- We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS) in any secondary subject
- Flexibility to deliver general cover (subject-specialist opportunities also available)
- Strong classroom management and a professional, positive approach
- Confident, reliable, and adaptable practitioners
