Academics are seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm and inclusive primary school in Waltham Forest, London. This SEN Teaching Assistant position is a full-time, long-term opportunity working 1:1 with a child in KS1, starting ASAP or January 2026.
The school in Waltham Forest, London is looking for a caring, motivated, and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant who can provide consistent support, build positive relationships, and help the child thrive within the classroom. While experience is preferred, the school is very open to graduates who are passionate about working with children or pursuing a career in education.

- Pay Rate: £89–£110 per day (depending on experience)

- Year Group: Year 1 & Year 2 – KS1 (1:1 support)

Responsibilities
- Support the learning, development, and well-being of a child in Year 1 with additional needs
- Be timetabled to work with children across KS1 delivering interventions and 1:1 support
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored strategies
- Create an encouraging and inclusive environment
- Help promote independence, confidence, and positive learning habits
- Contribute to the wider school community in Waltham Forest, London
- Receive excellent education and training opportunities
