Role details
- Start ASAP
- £140 - £160 per day, depending on experience
- Monday - Friday 8.30am to 3.45pm
- Term time only
- Mainstream secondary school Bristol – BS1
- A teaching qualification is not required for this role!
About the role
- Supervise classes/groups of pupils during break periods
- Ensure pupils remain on task with cover work set by absent teacher, to ensure continuity of learning
- Managing a classroom, ensuring high standards of behaviour in line with the school’s policy
- Support school events
- Opportunities for training and development internally and externally
A Secondary Cover Supervisor will
- Have extensive prior experience within an education establishment as a learning support assistant, teaching assistant, unqualified teacher etc
- Possess good behaviour management skills and remain calm under pressure
- Be confident with ICT skills, particularly Microsoft packages
