Academics is working in partnership with a high-achieving primary school in Wandsworth seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their supportive KS2 team from October 2025.

Role Details

  • Location: Primary school in Wandsworth
  • Start Date: October 2025
  • Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday
  • Salary: £95–£110 per day (depending on experience)

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting the KS2 class teacher with everyday classroom tasks and learning activities
  • Providing 1:1 and small-group support to help pupils progress confidently
  • Assisting with behaviour management and motivating pupils to stay engaged
  • Helping supervise pupils during break times, lunchtimes, and educational visits

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous primary school experience is desirable but not essential
  • A proactive, caring, and positive approach to supporting learning
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
  • Genuine enthusiasm for helping KS2 pupils achieve their best
