Academics Chelmsford are seeking a compassionate and dedicated PMLD Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Chelmsford. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to support children and young people with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), helping them access education in a safe, engaging, and supportive environment.
The Role:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with PMLD
- Assist with personal care needs and mobility, always ensuring dignity and respect
- Support pupils in developing communication, independence, and life skills
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to deliver tailored learning opportunities

The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have previous experience in SEN education or a care setting
