What the role as a Mental Health Teaching Assistant entails:
- Your role will mostly entail providing academic support to the class as a whole.
- Some students may require extra attention and you will assist and support them, ensuring they reach their goals!
- You may provide this support, either 1 to 1 or in small groups.
- While you embark on supporting these students, you will learn all the necessary qualities to make an amazing teacher.

- While you will be supporting the classroom and students, you will also support the class teacher. This will look like helping to set up of lessons, tidying and clearing up after lessons, providing general supervision of the class and help with behaviour management.

The Successful Mental Health Teaching Assistant:
