Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant – Reading

TA- Primary School in Reading

ASAP Start – Excellent Mainstream Primary Establishment

Responsibilities:

  • 1:1 Support with SEN Child (Behaviour Support)
  • Support a child in Year 3 with SEMH needs, with some physical and cognitive delay, requiring understanding of these needs
  • Demonstrate excellent behaviour management skills to support a child with challenging behaviour
  • Be enthusiastic and have a true passion for working with children with SEN/Autism
  • Provide consistent support and follow guidance; will work closely with the SENCO
  • Long-term, full-time commitment is expected

Additional Details:

  • ASAP start
  • Salary: Β£89- Β£100 per day
  • School is graded Outstanding by Ofsted and has good transport links

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Experience in a similar setting
  • Experience working with SEN/Autism and challenging behaviour
  • Patience, commitment and ability to work 1:1 in a mainstream environment
