An inclusive and welcoming primary school in Banbury is seeking an ASD Support Assistant to join their team from the beginning of the next academic year. The role involves supporting vulnerable children with mental health needs within an educational setting.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the learning of pupils requiring specialist intervention.
- Tailor the National Curriculum to suit individual needs and conduct 1:1 sessions to facilitate learning activities.
- Provide small group support within a mainstream primary school environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Background working with children.
- Experience in a specialist educational setting is highly desirable but not mandatory.
