As a Primary Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
- Maintain a positive, safe and engaging classroom environment.
- Support pupils' learning and behaviour throughout the school day.
- Build positive relationships with pupils and school staff.
- Adapt confidently to different school settings and year groups.
- Follow all school policies and safeguarding procedures.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Previous experience working with children in a school or similar educational setting.
- A BA Hons Degree, Cache or NVQ Level 3 qualification, or relevant education-related qualification is desirable.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- An Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one.
- A commitment to safeguarding and completing annual safeguarding training.
- The right to work in the UK.
