Academics are working with a welcoming Warrington primary school that is looking for a confident KS2 Teacher to join their team on a temporary basis, with the potential for the role to develop into something longer term.
This school places a strong emphasis on positive relationships, consistency and creating a calm environment where children feel ready to learn.
The role
You will take responsibility for your own KS2 class, delivering engaging lessons across the curriculum while maintaining high expectations for behaviour, learning and progress.
We're looking for someone who can:
- Deliver creative and purposeful KS2 lessons.
- Establish clear routines and expectations.
- Build positive relationships with pupils.
- Manage behaviour calmly and consistently.
- Assess learning and adapt teaching accordingly.
- Work collaboratively with support staff and the wider school team.
- Maintain strong safeguarding standards.
What you'll need
- QTS is essential.
- Recent UK primary teaching experience.
- Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.
- Confident behaviour management skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Academics.
