EYFS Reception Class Teacher - Stoke-on-Trent
Academics are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated EYFS Reception class Teacher to join a lovely Catholic primary school in Stoke-on-Trent on a full-time, long-term supply basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a welcoming school and take responsibility for a delightful Reception class of just 30 pupils. The role is covering a long-term sickness absence and is due to begin at the end of November, continuing until at least February half term, with the strong expectation that the placement will be extended.
The Role
As the Reception class teacher, you will take on full classroom teaching responsibilities, ensuring that every child receives an engaging, supportive and high-quality early years education.
Your responsibilities will include:

Planning and delivering engaging, creative lessons in line with the EYFS framework.

Supporting children's learning, development and progress across all areas of the curriculum.

Creating a stimulating, safe and nurturing classroom environment.

Assessing, monitoring and recording pupils' progress.

Supporting children's social, emotional and personal development.

Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues and parents to ensure the best outcomes for every child.

Taking full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the class.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a teacher who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Has experience teaching within EYFS, ideally in a Reception class.

Is enthusiastic, nurturing and passionate about early years education.

Can plan effectively and deliver creative, engaging learning experiences.

Is confident taking full responsibility for a class and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Can commit to a full-time, long-term placement.
