Classroom Cover Supervisor - Role Information

  • Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials across a range of subjects.
  • Maintain a positive learning environment and manage classroom behaviour effectively.
  • Keep students engaged and focused throughout the lesson.
  • Provide a brief handover to teaching staff at the end of each lesson.

Classroom Cover Supervisor - Applicant Requirements

  • A confident and professional classroom presence.
  • The ability to manage behaviour effectively and build positive relationships with students.
  • A minimum of two months' UK-based experience working with young people (e. g. in schools, coaching, tutoring, youth work, mentoring or similar settings).
  • A reliable, adaptable and professional approach.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
