Science Technician - Key Responsibilities Setting up laboratory equipment and apparatus for practical science experiments and demonstrations. Preparing science resources and materials for daily KS3 and KS4 science lessons. Supporting Science Teachers with practical demonstrations, experiments and laboratory activities. Cleaning, organising and maintaining science laboratory equipment. Preparing, mixing, storing and safely disposing of chemical solutions in line with relevant health and safety and COSHH procedures. Checking and maintaining scientific equipment and reporting any faults or issues. Ensuring science laboratories, preparation rooms and storage areas are clean, organised and safe.
