Academics is seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in schools across Tunbridge Wells.
We work with a variety of mainstream and specialist educational settings, offering flexible day-to-day work, short-term assignments and longer-term opportunities.
Your Responsibilities
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.
- Provide individual and small-group support within the classroom.
- Assist teachers with differentiated learning activities.
- Encourage positive behaviour, engagement and independence.
- Help students build confidence and develop essential life and social skills.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and school support teams.
