Academics are currently recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded secondary school in the Rickmansworth area for a passionate and dedicated Teacher of History to join the school from October 2026 on a full-time maternity cover basis. The Role

  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging History lessons across the ability range.
  • Inspire and motivate students to develop a strong understanding and appreciation of History.
  • Encourage critical thinking, discussion and independent learning.
  • Monitor and assess student progress effectively.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and achievement.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues within the History Department and across the wider school.
