The Role...no two days are ever the same!
- Overseeing students in the completion of pre-set work in the absence of the subject teacher
- Ensuring students remain engaged, on task and manage behaviour in the classroom
- Building positive relationship with pupils across different year groups
- Assist with other duties (registrations, break/ lunchtime duties)
Requirements:
- Desire to make a difference
- Enthusiastic, good sense of humour
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Adaptable, proactive, resilient, reliable
- Hold a UK degree or previous experience of working with young people (eg: mentor, sports coaching, youth work, tutoring, TA, LSA etc)
- Possess a current enhanced DBS certificate (or be happy to apply for a new one - we can help with this)
- Can travel to Redditch, Studley, Bromsgrove
