SEN Teaching Assistant's - Location: Malvern - Start Date: November 2026

We are currently recruiting for dedicated and resilient 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant's to join a variety of our welcoming schools in Malvern on a temporary long-term basis, starting in November 2026 with potential to see out the full academic year.

This rewarding role involves providing individual support to pupils with complex behavioural and emotional needs. To succeed in this position, you must be patient and confident in managing challenging behaviour while effectively building and maintaining positive and trusting relationships relatively quickly. You will work closely alongside class teacher's and Senior Leadership Team's to ensure all pupils are supported throughout the school day, enabling them to access learning, develop social skills and achieve positive outcomes both behaviourally and academically.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant support for pupils with significant behavioural, emotional and social needs.
  • Build a positive and trusting relationship with the pupil, acting as a consistent and supportive presence throughout the school day.
  • Implement behaviour support strategies and interventions in line with the school's policies and individual support plans.
  • Work closely alongside the class teacher to adapt learning activities and support the pupil's engagement within the classroom.
  • Support the pupil in developing emotional regulation, social communication and positive interactions with peers and staff.
  • Promote inclusion and support the pupil's participation in all aspects of school life.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has strong experience working with children with SEN, behavioural needs or within a challenging educational environment.
  • Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable).
  • Is calm, patient and resilient, with the ability to manage challenging behaviour positively and effectively.
  • Holds an Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one.
  • Is available to start ASAP.
  • Is fully registered to work for Academics.

Pay: Β£95 - Β£110 per day, depending on experience and responsibilities. Holiday pay is included in the daily rate.
