Year 6 Teacher
Are you a qualified teacher with experience working in upper KS2 and looking for your next role?
We are currently looking for a confident and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join a primary school in Maidstone from January on a full-time basis.
This role would suit a teacher who enjoys creating an engaging classroom, has high expectations of their pupils and is confident taking ownership of their class.
What You'll Be Responsible For

Leading a Year 6 class on a full-time basis

Preparing and delivering creative and engaging lessons

Taking responsibility for planning, assessment and marking

Tracking pupil progress and identifying areas for development

Supporting pupils in preparation for the transition to secondary school

Creating a positive, structured and inclusive classroom environment

Working effectively with colleagues, parents and the wider school team
We're Looking For Someone Who Has:
- QTS - essential

Previous experience within a primary school, ideally teaching Year 6

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

Excellent organisation and communication

Confidence working independently and taking responsibility for a class

A current DBS, or willingness to apply for a new one

A driving licence is preferred
