As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who may experience behavioural, emotional, social, or additional learning needs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with behavioural needs
- Build positive and trusting relationships with students
- Support pupils with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, and other additional needs
- Help implement individual behaviour and learning strategies
- Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation
- Work alongside teachers and SEN staff to support pupil progress
- Help create a calm, structured, and nurturing learning environment
