Are you a Physics graduate looking to gain valuable teaching experience in a high-achieving secondary school? An exciting opportunity is available for a Physics Graduate to join a successful school in North London, teaching Physics to students up to A Level. This role would suit a strong Physics graduate who is considering a career in teaching and would like to develop their classroom experience before progressing into teacher training or a PGCE.
The Role
- Teaching Physics across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, working with students through to A Level.
- Planning and delivering engaging Physics lessons.
- Supporting students to develop strong subject knowledge.
- Preparing students for GCSE and A Level examinations.
- Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of individual students.
- Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback.
- Supporting practical Physics work and experiments.
- Working closely with colleagues within the Science department.
- Creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
The Ideal Physics Graduate
- A degree in Physics or a closely related subject.
- Strong subject knowledge up to A Level.
- Excellent communication skills.
- The confidence to teach and engage secondary school students.
- A genuine interest in developing a career in teaching.
- Previous tutoring, teaching or mentoring experience would be advantageous.
- A professional, enthusiastic and committed approach.
