Contract: Full-time initially, moving to part-time
QTS: Essential
DBS: Enhanced DBS required

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Gravesend.

The successful candidate will teach full-time, 5 days per week, from October to December 2026. From January 2027 through to July 2027, the role will transition to part-time, 2-3 days per week, offering excellent flexibility for the remainder of the academic year.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5

  • Be confident planning and delivering engaging lessons

  • Have strong classroom management skills

  • Be committed to supporting pupils' academic and personal development

  • Work effectively as part of a supportive school team

  • Have a fully enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for a new enhanced DBS immediately
