Your Role
- Support the class teacher with delivering engaging lessons and classroom activities.
- Provide tailored support to pupils, helping them access learning and develop confidence.
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage a safe, inclusive classroom environment in Gloucester
- Support pupils with additional needs, adapting activities to meet their individual requirements.
- Assist with classroom organisation and contribute to the overall learning experience.
What Academics are Looking For
- A relevant Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Childcare or a related field.
- A genuine passion for education and supporting children's development.
- Experience working with primary-aged children (desirable).
- Strong communication, organisation and teamwork skills.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
