We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Gillingham, Medway. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, supporting pupils with their learning, development and day-to-day classroom needs.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience working with children in a school or educational setting
  • Be enthusiastic, patient and committed to supporting pupils
  • Be able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Have a positive and flexible approach
  • Have SEN experience (preferred, but not essential)

Requirements:

  • Full-time availability is essential
  • A fully enhanced DBS is required, or you must be willing to apply for a new one
  • Relevant experience working with children is desirable
