Academics Rochester are currently working with a Primary School in Gillingham for an experienced SEN Teacher.
You must have experience of working with children with ASD, Behavioural traits and/or SEMH as this school works with children with Mental Health, Behavioural difficulties and complex learning needs.
The school provides its students with an excellent learning environment, giving them a positive attitude towards their work, helping them thrive and progress in the school.
As an SEN Teacher, your responsibilities will be:
- Teaching KS1 pupils in a mainstream setting
- Supporting pupils with high needs and non-verbal
- Maintaining and improving their education levels
- Classroom management and small group work
- Compiling and updating individual learning plans for students
The schools will offer the successful SEN Teacher:
- Full Teaching assistant support in class
