Teaching Assistant - Ellesmere Port

Academics are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work across primary schools in Ellesmere Port, supporting pupils in and out of the classroom.
We're looking for someone who can bring more than just classroom experience - someone who is patient, adaptable and genuinely enjoys helping children make progress, whether that's through a well-timed bit of encouragement, supporting a small group or simply being a familiar face in the classroom.
What you could be doing:
- Supporting pupils with their learning across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
- Working alongside teachers to keep lessons running smoothly
- Helping children build confidence and independence
- Supporting small groups or individual pupils where needed
- Getting involved with different schools and adapting to new environments
What we're looking for:
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification desirable
- Previous experience working with children in a school or similar setting
- A positive and adaptable approach
- Good communication and classroom management skills
- A genuine interest in supporting children's learning and development
- An enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
