GCSE Tutor - Part-Time Temporary Role Location: Multiple areas across Kent Start Date: As soon as possible Hours: Approximately 10 hours per week Contract: Temporary, part-time Are you an experienced GCSE Tutor looking for a flexible opportunity where you can make a real difference to learners? We are looking for enthusiastic and committed Tutors to support students across multiple areas of Kent. This role would suit an experienced education professional with a strong understanding of the secondary curriculum, particularly at GCSE , and ideally with experience supporting Key Stage 3 / 4 learners . You'll be confident creating engaging, structured lesson plans and adapting your teaching approach to meet individual students' needs, abilities and learning goals. About the role As a Tutor, you will: Deliver engaging and purposeful GCSE tutoring sessions . Support Key Stage 3 / 4 learners , where required. Create and adapt lesson plans to suit individual students and their learning objectives. Help students build confidence, develop their subject knowledge and achieve their academic potential. Monitor progress and adapt your approach to support continued development. Build positive, professional relationships with students. Provide a safe, supportive and motivating learning environment. About you We're looking for someone who: Has previous experience working in an education setting . Has experience tutoring or teaching at GCSE and/or A-Level . Ideally has experience working with Key Stage 3 / 4 students . Is confident creating and delivering effective lesson plans . Is enthusiastic, reliable and passionate about supporting young people. Can adapt their teaching style to different learning needs and abilities. Has excellent communication and organisational skills. Is able to work flexibly across relevant areas of Kent.
