Secondary Teaching Assistant / Crewe / ASAP Start / Fixed-Term Contract

Academics are working with a supportive secondary school in Crewe, Cheshire East, who are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support their Reflection Room. This is a full-time role starting ASAP until Christmas initially.
About the Role:
- Supporting KS3 and KS4 students withbehavioural, emotional and pastoral needs
- Providing a calm and structured environment for students to reflect and reset
- Building positive relationships while maintaining clear boundaries and expectations
- Supporting students to regulate their emotions and make positive choices
- Using effective behaviour management and de-escalation strategies
Applicant Requirements:
- Experience working with young people, ideally in a school, SEN, pastoral or behavioural setting
- Calm, patient, resilient and confident managing challenging behaviour
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A genuine passion for supporting young people
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
