An Alternative Provision setting in Gloucestershire is looking for a Behaviour Mentor to help pupils develop positive behaviour, emotional awareness and engagement with education. You will provide encouragement and consistent support to help young people work towards positive outcomes.
As a Behaviour Mentor - Alternative Provision, you will:
Build trusting relationships with pupils and provide consistent mentoring.
Support pupils to recognise emotions, manage triggers and develop coping strategies.
Encourage positive behaviour, attendance and participation in learning.
Help pupils develop communication, conflict-resolution and problem-solving skills.
Work with teaching and pastoral staff to reinforce agreed support strategies.
The Behaviour Mentor - Alternative Provision role is an opportunity to make a difference to young people who may need additional support to succeed in an educational environment.
