Looking for a role that fits around your existing commitments? Academics are currently recruiting a Mid-Day Supervisor to work within a primary school in the Caerphilly area on a long-term basis.

Working just 11:30am-1pm, Monday to Friday, this role is ideal for someone looking to work a couple of hours each day while still having plenty of time for other personal commitments.

The Role

As a Mid-Day Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising pupils throughout their lunchtime, helping to ensure they are safe, happy and well cared for.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising children while they eat their lunch

• Supporting pupils during their lunchtime routines

• Monitoring behaviour and encouraging positive interactions

• Supervising children in the playground during lunchtime

• Ensuring pupils remain safe and following school rules

• Supporting children who may need additional help during lunchtime

• Dealing appropriately with minor incidents and concerns

• Creating a positive and enjoyable lunchtime environment

• Reporting any concerns to the appropriate member of school staff

• Following the school's safeguarding procedures

We're Looking For

• Previous experience working with children is desirable

• Experience caring for children would also be advantageous

• Available Monday to Friday, 11:30am-1pm
