Your Role as an ASD Assistant:
- Providing one-to-one and small-group support to students with ASD.
- Helping students engage with lessons and classroom activities.
- Supporting communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation.
- Encouraging confidence, independence, and positive behaviour.
- Helping students manage changes in routine and transitions throughout the school day.
- Working closely with teachers and support staff to meet individual learning needs.
- Helping to maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
What We're Looking for in an ASD Assistant:
- Passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs.
- Patient, calm, empathetic, and reliable.
- Confident communicating with students and staff.
